Dave holds a TCEQ Class A Wastewater Treatment Operator license and a TCEQ Class B Surface Water Treatment Operator license. He is a McElroy University trained HDPE Fusion Inspector, and is a certified HDPE Electrofusion Technician, HDPE Small & Medium Diameter Butt Fusion Technician, and HDPE Socket Fusion Technician. Dave is also a 2020 registered member of both the American Water Works Association and the Texas American Water Works Association.
Dave currently serves as a Small Utility Representative Member on the Plastic Pipe Institute Municipal Advisory Board (April 2015 – Present) and on the American Water Works Association (AWWA) Pipe and Fittings Standards Committee, Thermoplastics (Polyolefins) 263 Committee (Oct 2015 – Present).
